Heritage Plaza
Metairie, Louisiana
Stewart Development (a Stewart Capital affiliate) developed this 18-story office building with a 1,100 space parking garage in 1982. Heritage Plaza is one of the premier Class A office buildings in the New Orleans suburban market of Metairie. The 353,000 square foot property boasts a blue chip tenant roster and consistently high occupancy rates.
The Stewart Building
Metairie, Louisiana
In 1973, Frank B. Stewart, Jr. built this four-story 129,000 square foot building as the corporate headquarters of Stewart Enterprises. Today, the building is home to a wide range of corporate tenants.  In 2000, Stewart Capital sold the Stewart Building for a significant gain on our investment.
Hampton Inn St. Charles Avenue
New Orleans, Louisiana
In conjunction with an experienced development and operating team, Stewart Capital developed this hotel in a prime location on St. Charles Avenue in Uptown New Orleans. This 100 room limited service hotel opened in September 1997 and has consistently surpassed management's operating expectations. Beautifully designed and constructed, the St. Charles Avenue hotel is considered a flagship property for the Hampton Inn chain.

Hampton Inn Convention Center Hotel
New Orleans, Louisiana
With the same partners as the St. Charles Avenue Hampton Inn, Stewart Capital acquired the historically significant Krauss Warehouse in the New Orleans Warehouse and Arts District. The strategically located property is across the street from the Morial Convention Center, one of the top convention destinations in the nation. The 288 room hotel, which offers both suites and regular rooms, consists of the renovated warehouse structure and a new building built on adjacent land. The facility also boasts a state-of-the-art meeting and ballroom space. Since opening in spring 2000, the property has become one of the top convention hotels in the city.
Premier Center
Mandeville, LA
Premier Center is a 270,000 square foot neighborhood shopping center with blue chip tenants, including Barnes and Noble, Bed Bath and Beyond, Stein Mart, GAP, Banana Republic, Old Navy, TJ Maxx, and other top national retailers. The property was developed in two phases in 1998 and 1999 and opened 100% leased.  Premier Center quickly became the most popular shopping center in the rapidly growing North Shore suburbs of New Orleans. 
Northpark II Office Building
Covington, LA
Northpark II is a 70,000 square foot Class A office building located in the Northpark Office Park in Covington.  The building, which opened in 1999, is adjacent to several other properties Stewart Capital owns in the area.  With the rapid economic and population growth to the north of New Orleans, Northpark II addresses the need for high-end office space in the area.
Verandah Courtyard by Marriott
New Orleans, Louisiana
In 1995, Stewart Capital acted as an investor in this 141 room hotel project, located one block from the New Orleans French Quarter. After a year and a half of successful operation, the developer was able to return all of the investors’ initial capital investment. Stewart Capital continues to maintain an equity interest in the project, which has exceeded our expectations. 
D/FW Freeport/Royal Trade Center
Irving, Texas
Along with a partner in Dallas, Stewart Capital developed this 106,500 square foot industrial warehouse building in the Freeport Business Park, adjacent to the Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport. At completion of construction, the facility was 100% occupied by industrial tenants with long-term leases. In 1998, Stewart Capital sold the building to a sophisticated foreign investor for a significant gain.
Northpark Courtyard by Marriott
Covington, Louisiana
In 1996, Stewart Capital invested in this limited service 90 room hotel property in Covington, a North Shore suburb of New Orleans, with experienced hotel development partners. The hotel serves the Northpark Corporate Center office park and is one of the only high quality hotels in the quickly growing North Shore area. In 2000, Stewart Capital sold its share of the hotel for a significant gain.
St. Charles Condominiums
Biloxi, Mississippi
In 1997, Stewart Capital developed this $7 million, 72 unit condominium project along the beach in Biloxi, Mississippi. The property is located less than two miles from the main strip of Biloxi casinos, which is anchored by Mirage’s Beau Rivage Resort with its 1,780 room hotel. By the time of completion, 99% of the condominium units were pre-sold.
